Privacyverklaring — LedsApp

Laatst bijgewerkt: 7 augustus 2026

LedsApp bestuurt LED-brillen via Bluetooth.

  • het adres en de naam van de laatst gebruikte bril;
  • de pincode van die bril;

  • geen advertenties en geen advertentie-identificatie;
  • geen analyse-, meet- of volgsoftware van derden;
  • geen internetverbinding voor gegevens, de app praat alleen met uw bril;

Privacy Policy — LedsApp

Last updated: 7 August 2026

LedsApp controls LED glasses over Bluetooth. The app collects no personal data, has no user accounts and sends nothing to a server. There is no server.

What is stored on your device

The app keeps a few settings in your device's own storage so you don't have to enter them again:

  • the address and name of the last pair of glasses you used;
  • the PIN code for those glasses;
  • your chosen display name and whether the preview screen is on.

This stays on the device, is never transmitted, and is removed when you uninstall the app.

Bluetooth

The app scans for nearby Bluetooth devices to find your glasses and sends them colours, patterns and brightness. The connection itself is secured by your phone's operating system. On Android 11 and older the system asks for location permission when scanning; that is an Android requirement for Bluetooth scanning, not because the app wants your location. The app does not read, store or transmit your location.

Microphone

When you switch on the equaliser mode, the app listens through the microphone so the glasses can react to the music around you. The sound is only used at that moment to measure loudness. Nothing is recorded, stored or sent. Turning the mode off stops the listening.

What the app does not do

  • no advertising and no advertising identifier;
  • no third-party analytics or tracking;
  • no internet connection for data, the app only talks to your glasses;
  • no sharing or selling of data, because there is none.

Children

The app is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, regardless of age.
